Octavia Kumalo

Octavia is a passionate business woman with experience in IT, business analysis and strategy. She holds an honours degree in Informatics from The University of Pretoria.

Tebogho Lehlabi

Tebogho has studied fashion at The University of Johannesburg, and works as a teacher in Community Development of Fashion at Kwanda. She is the creator of our Los Lappies range and aspires to be a master weaver.

Benedicte Kurzen

Benedicte is a French girl, who decided to split her life into two: a career in photojournalism and working with State of the Nation. She has travelled extensively across Africa: from West, East, South and North. She was based in the Middle East, before landing in South Africa. She focuses on the administrative and production processes within State of the Nation, while making some incursions into the creative side. She is in love with the ethnic objects and fabric she collects when she travels, and classic French XVIII century furniture.
